Procurement from Public Agencies
Proficient in the State's procurement laws, partners of Stern, Van Vleck & McCarron have a proven track record representing industry groups and individual companies on successfully securing contracts with State and local government agencies. We also have served on the State of California Department of General Services (DGS) procurement review panel. This twelve member industry panel was developed after the Oracle scandal to provide counsel and direction to DGS and recommend how to "fix" the procurement process. Furthermore, working with lobbyists from our strategic partner, DiMare Van Vleck & Brown, which has strong ties to the Legislature, we have successfully helped clients "find" government monies in the budget process to help those agencies purchase goods and services from our clients.
